HOW DO WE MAKE OUR OLIVE OIL?

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We are not commercial growers, which means we are not motivated by high yields & profit margins. Instead, our management of the land is based on a very simple philosophy:

What benefits one, should benefit many.

What threatens one, threatens many.

With these guiding principles, doing the right thing becomes second nature & the balance of the ecosystem can be restored. Anything produced on our farm, comes with the following guarantees:

NO CHEMICALS

We use ZERO chemicals on our land. That includes those approved for organic farming, as they can still cause considerable damage to the soil microbiology, wildlife & waterways.

HEALTHY SOIL

We avoid any methods that can harm our soils & the life it harbors, because we understand that a living soil is key to a functioning ecosystem & producing nutrient-rich food.

BIO-DIVERSITY

Our farming practices actively restore & encourage biodiversity, by providing an abundance of food & a safe habitat for wildlife. Every year, we discover new arrivals that thrive on our land.

The result is a fantastic extra-virgin olive oil: Fantastic for the consumer, fantastic for all the wildlife that has made our orchard their sanctuary.

If you are wondering where you can buy our oil. Sorry, you can’t. We do not sell anything. Instead we share the fruits of our labour with our friends & with our amazing members, who have chosen to make a difference by supporting our project.
